Initially "Serve Ye the Lord with Gladness" started as the Altar Missal According to the usage of the Celtic Orthodox Christian Church. It has grown into a resource for any Christian for study and contemplation. Volumes 1 and 2 of this book contain prayers and resources for the entire year. Both volumes are necessary since this volume only contains the Propers for Fixed Days: Advent, Christmas, through Epiphany, the. Martyrology of Oengus the Céli Dé and Saint Commemorations. Volume 2 contains the Movable Days: Pre-Lent, Lent, Easter, Paschaltide, Ascension, the Pentecost Season, General Proper Prayers, and the Life of the Apostles.
