Is the Church required to provide Sacraments  to active homosexuals or other "alternative" lifestyles because of its commitment to those it Baptizes?

Please keep in mind that this essay applies to all forms of sin including actions that are considered legal, such as deliberately causing others to lose their livelihoods for the sake of profit or allowing people to live in freezing substandard housing.

We love the sinner, but hate the sin and pray that they are converted from it. We do not hate the sinner.  Hatred itself is a grave sin which many follow as a way of life. That is not a Christian lifestyle.

We all are tempted from all sorts of sources, hunger, fear, love, hate, anger, lust and more. Even our physical being tempts us. This is part of being human and it is not sin if the temptation is rejected.  Even if one does sin, remember that God is Merciful and Loving: Any sin that is sincerely regretted is forgivable.  Sincere regret includes a desire to resist the temptation in the future.

The Church does not require perfection, but exists as a help for those that are striving to resist temptation.  Jesus Christ did not come to heal the well, but the sick.

Are same sex marriages possible in a Christian Church?
No. Since homosexual activity is not in accord with the Christian lifestyle, a same sex Christian marriage is a contradiction in terms.
